Leaving RealityBrb I was honestly not expecting something as wholesome at this, I love reading the stories of solving a small misunderstanding, that came from nothing really and both owner and pet are happy

Mental Gap8519 OP Right?? Turns out we were both respecting a boundary that neither of us had actually set ③ I probably owe him several cans of wet food for emotional damages now.

Witty-Permission8283 OMG I had a similar thing happen to me! She was asleep, on the floor with her face to the wall about a foot away from me. Poor baby. I woke her up to invite her up and she settled right in in the crook of my arm.

Mental Gap8519 OP She'd been waiting for you all along, just hoping you'd wake her up and invite her in

Different-Dance-7537 My cat rarely spends the entire night with us, but she always comes in for bedtime cuddles just before we turn off the light. I always wake up at 6:45AM with her sitting on my left hip - I tend to sleep on my right side. As soon as I tell her good morning, she walks onto my chest with her face right up to mine and starts chattering about her breakfast.

Mental Gap8519 OP She's learned your whole routine and even waits until you're awake before disturbing you. What a little angel
